Refund & Cancellation Policy

New Jersey Home Improvement Contracts

1. Three-Day Right to Cancel

In accordance with New Jersey law, the homeowner has the right to cancel this contract without penalty or obligation at any time before midnight of the third (3rd) business day after receiving a signed copy of the contract.

Cancellation must be made in writing and delivered to HydroGlow by certified mail, personal delivery, or another verifiable written method.

2. Refund Upon Timely Cancellation

If the homeowner cancels this agreement within the three-day cancellation period:

  • HydroGlow shall refund all payments received in full, including any deposit.

  • Refunds will be issued within thirty (30) days of HydroGlow’s receipt of the written cancellation notice.

  • No cancellation fees, penalties, or administrative charges will be applied.

3. Cancellation After the Three-Day Period

After the three-day cancellation period has expired:

  • The homeowner is not automatically entitled to a refund.

  • Any refund issued after this period will be subject to:

    • The terms of the signed contract, and/or

    • Mutual written agreement between the homeowner and HydroGlow.

  • If work has commenced, HydroGlow may retain payment for labor performed, materials purchased, and costs incurred up to the date of cancellation, as permitted by New Jersey law.

4. Contractor Non-Performance

If HydroGlow fails to perform the work as agreed, performs defective work, or materially breaches the contract, the homeowner may have rights and remedies under:

  • The terms of the contract

  • New Jersey contract law

  • The New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act

Such remedies may include contract cancellation and possible return of funds, as allowed by law.

5. Legal Compliance Notice

This policy is provided in compliance with the New Jersey Home Improvement Practices Regulations (N.J.A.C. 13:45A-16) and is intended to protect both the homeowner and HydroGlow.
